About Me
The person
behind the code.
My official name is Brian Ouma I am a Kenyan based full-stack web developer & AI agents builder and tester. I am a Computer Science graduate from Technical University of Mombasa. I do build prototypes and production systems too that can serve users.
My first flagship project is the House of Transformation Church Platform: it is a full-featured, multi-subsystem web application serving a congregation in Busia County, Kenya. It spans membership management, M-Pesa Daraja payment integration, SMS and email notification pipelines via Africa's Talking and Brevo, event management, volunteer coordination, donation campaigns with pledge reminders, admin dashboards, and live monitoring with Sentry and Winston. The project is deployed on Vercel(frontend) and Render (backed), backed by MongoDB Atlas, Supabase (for auth), and Redis with BullMQ job queues.
I am equally versed & invested in Web3. During my learning period on cyfrin updraft I was motivated to built BlockBallot a decentralised multi-chain voting system with Solidity smart contracts, Merkle proof eligibility verification, and Hardhat tooling and completed the Cyfrin Foundry course. I approach blockchain not as a trend, but as infrastructure.
I am an introverted, calm, and methodical socially. I often debug deeply, architect carefully, and ship reliably. Post-graduation, I taught myself the modern web stack through AI-assisted development and structured courses which is exactly why I move fast and think in systems.
Besides all that I am a born-again Christian, raised in the faith in Busia and now rooted in it at House of Transformation church in Nairobi. People who know me tend to describe me the same way: humble, polite, and even-tempered, though not a pushover. My instinct under pressure is to avoid confrontation and walk away rather than escalate, then come back to it with a clearer mind.
My very first contact with crypto was in December 2022 not as a trader, but as a curious researcher exploring what blockchain technology actually was. but In February 2023 I checked a wallet I had set up for an Opera Crypto Wallet giveaway and found roughly $1,100 worth of MATIC (now POL) sitting there still my biggest single crypto milestone I have ever earned. From there I kept participating in giveaways and promotions on exchanges like Binance and Bybit, picking up anywhere from $10 to $200 in USDT, before that space became saturated and I redirected the same research energy toward AI.
"Despite the struggles of today, there will always come good times." I push myself hard against obstacles, and most of the time that persistence carries me through โ though I'm honest that when progress stays invisible for too long, I do lose interest and have to fight my way back to motivation.
